It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Washington State Senator Bill Ramos, a dedicated public servant and tireless advocate for equity, community, and Latino advancement.

Senator Ramos made history through his commitment to representation and inclusion, becoming a voice for many underrepresented communities. At the 2025 Spring Gala & Awards, we proudly honored him as Latino Elected Official of the Year, recognizing his leadership, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the people of Washington State.
During his time in office, Senator Ramos championed causes that truly reflected the needs and dreams of the Latino community—from access to education and economic opportunity to civic engagement and cultural recognition. His presence at the Gala earlier this month left a lasting impact on all of us.
