Open Mic

WHEN?

The last Wednesday of every month, starting on September 25th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Then on October 30th. Except for the months of November and December, which will be held on December 4th instead of the last Wednesday of the month.

HOW TO REGISTER?

Everyone can pre-register by sending an email to:

HOW IT WORKS?

We invite those who are interested in participating to read poetry, a piece of literature, sing a song, etc…The time limit is eight minutes and it will be indicated by one of our volunteers.

The turn for the participants to share will be selected randomly among the people registered online. Registration to participate in person will close 30 minutes before the open mic begins.

We have a big surprise for you! Pre-register by sending an email to: mic@seattlelatino.org, attend our open mic and you will win a $25 DoorDash gift card.

Additional Information:

We invite all participants to bring food to share. The idea of this event is to bring together our community where food, art, and literature can shared.
Drinks can be purchased at the Hugo House bar; outdoor beverages are not allowed. This is to show support and appreciation for the hospitality and kindness of Hugo House.

At the appropriate time, we may choose together, if time and circumstances allow, which has been the best sharing of the night. It may or may not happen.
