Our advocacy work is focused on supporting the Latino business community and all Latinos to achieve fair and equal opportunities in the United States of America.

When any of our members are singled out and treated unlawfully or discriminated against, we will provide our resources to help fight against any injustice or discrimination.

To further its members goals SLMCC has 16 partnerships with top organization including:

The Latino Chamber of Commerce has achieved two significant proclamations amongst other merits and recognitions to honor its membership and the Latino Business community of Seattle and Washington State.

  • 2017 – Mayor Edward Murray proclaimed September 7 as the:

Seattle Latino Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Day

Bruce A. Harrell, Mayor of Seattle, recognized the Seattle Latino/Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for its outstanding achievements in the promotion of Latino entrepreneurs and its valuable work in the achievement of fair and equal opportunities for the Latino community in the United States. For this reason, it was proclaimed December 3, 2022 to be the SEATTLE LATINO/HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DAY.

Latino Women Entrepreneur Day Proclamation

Bruce A. Harrell, Mayor of Seattle, recognized the contribution of Latina women as key players in fueling the nation’s economy, as the fastest growing segment of the business community in the United States. Latina entrepreneurs create  businesses at a rate six times faster than any other group in the country. For this reason, it was proclaimed November 19, 2022, to be the LATINA WOMEN ENTREPRENEUR DAY.

The Seattle Latino Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is a registered C-6 Nonprofit WA state corporation with tax exempt status backed by a grassroots business community of over 1,500 followers around the Seattle Metropolitan area and WA state.
