SEATTLE, WA — In a prominent national showing, Marcos Wanless, President of the Seattle and Tacoma chambers of commerce, joined over 70 chamber presidents nationwide at the USHCC National Convention. During this important gathering, leaders discussed vital topics to improve the state of Latino businesses in the United States.
A focal point of the event was the presentation of key data from the latest Latino economic census, revealing that Latinos and Latino businesses contribute more than 4 trillion dollars to the American economy. By themselves, these businesses generate a GDP that, if it were an independent country, would rank the community fifth in the world.
Alongside the general sessions, President Wanless held key meetings with corporate executives from Comcast at their headquarters, as well as with other leaders to celebrate the upcoming convention to be held in Chicago in 2027.
Marcos Wanless serves on the USHCC Board of Directors as the Director for Region One, which encompasses the territories of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska.
