Plastic bag ban and charges on other reusable bags
The Department recently published a Special Notice on the upcoming ban on plastic bags and charges for certain reusable bags. This legislation has been delayed until Jan. 31, 2021 per Proclamation 20-82 by the governor, and could be delayed even further.

1-800 numbers are being discontinued
The Department of Revenue is in the process of discontinuing 1-800 numbers. With the widespread use of cellular and VoIP services, most callers do not need the toll free option. Please remove any references from your records, and replace them with the corresponding local numbers below.
