2022 Best Latino Chamber of the Year

Seattle, Washington, October 4, 2022. The United States Hispani Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) has selected the Seattle Latino Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (SLMCC) with the 2022 “Chamber of the Year” Award for outstanding accomplishments, leadership, innovative programs, community service, cultural awareness, and commitment to helping the Hispanic community located in Washington State.

The Hispanic Chamber of the Year award winner is chosen from more than 260 Hispanic chambers across the nation.

This is the first time that a Latino-Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has been honored with this award in Washington State.

Our President and Founder Marcos Wanless initial remarks stated: “Being selected as the 2022 Chamber of the Year reaffirms our commitment and advocacy work focused on supporting the Latino business community and all Latinos to achieve fair and equal opportunities in the United States of America. We receive this award on behalf of our board, staff, members, partners and as a recognition for all the Latino business community is the State of Washington”

Through 2021-2022, the SLMCC organization has been working hard to help small businesses recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize the support of our corporate members who made it possible for us to continue operations and the same time offer free memberships to more than 95 small Latino business who were heavily affected by the pandemic.

SLMCC Was selected amongst 260 Latino Hispanic chambers of commerce nationwide

The 2022 Best Latino Chamber of the Year award is presented by the USHCC to Chambers for achievements in: leadership, innovative programs, community service, cultural awareness and commitment to helping the Hispanic community. In addition to providing unparalleled opportunities for private sector entities to engage with national leaders, helping to promote economic growth and development across the United States.
