On July 23, the Washington Minority Business Coalition held a business meeting adding a significant milestone in the coalition’s formation and shared commitment. The Coalition was established to serve as a strong voice for the economic prosperity of Washington’s minority business communities. It is made up of a diverse group of community-based business organizations dedicated to addressing the economic disparities faced by minority-owned businesses. United by shared values and common goals, the coalition works to identify systemic barriers, close resource gaps, and develop policy solutions that foster equitable economic development. As organizations led by people from minority communities, we recognize that we are best positioned to understand and address the unique challenges our communities face. This first business meeting marks the beginning of a new chapter of active collaboration to uplift and empower minority business communities across Washington State.
