SBA Fire Disaster Assistance Available in King County, Washington
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) recently approved a disaster declaration for King County, WA in response to the Hanover Apartment Complex fire, which occurred July 10, 2021. SBA offers low-interest recovery loans to businesses and private non-profit organizations, home owners and renters who sustained damage in the fire. We also offer Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) to businesses and private non-profit organizations that may or may not have sustained any physical damage, but who have difficulty meeting their routine obligations because of the disaster.
These loans are available in Chelan, King, Kitsap, Kittitas, Pierce, Snohomish and Yakima counties.
In consideration of the public health concerns due to the Coronavirus pandemic, SBA established a Virtual Disaster Loan Outreach Center and a Virtual Business Recovery Center to answer questions about SBA’s disaster loan program, explain the application process and help each individual complete their electronic loan application:
